Mabe Fratti

In collaboration with Possibile Musica, Thuono had a conversation with the Guatemalan artist and cellist Mabe Fratti, moderated by Giulia Scrocchi. In the space of the Serra Madre in Bologna and in collaboration with Robot Festival, Mabe selected six records that have had a significant influence on her musical sensibility and artistic development. She discussed the personal meaning of each song, exposing the inspirations and tales that link them. Upon entering the Serra, guests were guided through this musical journey as Mabe showcased each record on the Thuono TH300 turntable.

Sonic Narratives with Dimitra Zina

Curated by Dimitra Zina and recorded on Thuono’s high-end system, this two hour vinyl session is broadcast by Stegi Radio and took place live in Italy. In an intimate setting we took a moment to pause and closely listen to some of the most remarkable jazz releases, both new and old. In an attempt to challenge the notion of music as passive consumption, this broadcast invites a deep, intentional listening experience.

Publishing Station

Publishing Station is a curatorial platform where creatives, record labels and publishing houses come together to exchange ideas and share their urgencies. For one of its monthly episodes on Radio Halara, Thuono was invited to curate a selection of tracks from the Thuono vinyl archive. The set was played entirely in analogue and recorded on a Thuono turntable at the Thuono Listening Room in Thiene, Italy.

Gigi Masin

In collaboration with Possibile Musica, Thuono welcomed Venetian artist and composer Gigi Masin to its listening room. Known for his distinctive approach to ambient and electronic music, Masin presented six carefully selected records that have shaped both his life and musical practice, inviting the audience into his world through the stories and memories they hold. As the stylus traced the grooves of each record on the TH350 turntable, Masin reflected on the significance of every selection, revealing the experiences, encounters and musical discoveries that accompanied them. Each record became a vessel for memory, unfolding a deeply personal journey through listening.
