The Thuono audio power cable is a versatile cable that can connect different parts of the audio system further enhancing the sound quality thanks to the measures taken to reduce resonances, the choice of materials used and the isolation of conductors.

Addressing resonances
Because cables conduct electricity, they can vibrate and produce resonances. It is therefore essential to focus on reducing this phenomenon as much as possible in order to protect sound quality. Thuono Audio cables are created with non elastic materials with special attention given to the conductors which are insulated with cotton and covered with a layer of particularly soft heat-shrink polyolefin, which has been specifically selected to dampen resonances. In the Thuono Audio Power cable current flows at 220V at a fixed-frequency and even greater care has been taken with resonances. In fact, another layer of soft, thick, heat-shrink coating has been added, so as to obtain additional damping. The Thuono Audio Power cable is formed of four layers, one of aluminium, a double layer of silver-plated copper, and a braided gauze.
Conductors and connectors
Single crystal conductors are used with level 2 isolation.
Rhodium-plated connectors have been polished so as to allow for the lowest possible contact resistance.
Geometric Construction
The coils that make up the Thuono Audio cable were designed and manufactured in such a way as to optimise electron transmission speed and propagation.
A copper strip has been placed in the Power cable which enhances the sonic quality of the cable. It has been applied with non-conductive glue and this reduces any static that can form on the outside of the cable. The strip is covered with a gauze that prevents oxidation.
